OAK Porches

There are many benefits to installing a porch outside your front door. It creates a secure and private threshold for your home. This will give you shelter from typical British weather while you are trying to find your house key and offer protection should someone deliver a parcel while you are out. Your friends and family can happily wait for you to answer the door under a porch, even when it is raining.

The possibilities are endless

At Foxtail Oak, we create bespoke, handcrafted porches to capture the personality of your home, while providing a practical outdoor space.

Over the years we have built many unique porch structures. We can create an open structure with just the roof or add glazing for complete protection in a sheltered porch space. The choice is yours and we will work with you to create a beautiful addition to your home. It is our mission to provide character as well as practicality, which is why we use ancient oak wood framing techniques. With oak’s natural grain and sturdy support, your porch will look like it has always been a part of your house.

Making your ideas a reality

With truly endless design possibilities, we like to start the process by visiting your home to survey the area. We can discuss your ideas and find out exactly what you require from your new porch. On this visit, we can decide what is possible for your space and create a 3D model that will allow us to design the porch. You always have final approval over the design and once you are happy we will begin to manufacture and build the perfect porch for your home.
