What we collect when you use this website or get in touch with us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Foxtail Oak Ltd. We're a company registered in England and Wales, number 12733862. Our registered office is Linden House, Monk Street, Abergavenny NP7 5NF.
For anything to do with your information, email info@foxtailoak.co.uk or ring 01873 379050.
Your name, email address and phone number, where the project is, and whatever you tell us about it: what you want built, your rough budget, how far you've got with planning, and any drawings or photos you attach. If you're an architect or a builder, the name of your practice or company.
We use it to reply to you, work out a price and, if you go ahead, plan the job. The law calls this taking steps at your request before a contract.
Our buyer's guides are hosted by a service called Papermark, and you give your email address to open one. When you do, Papermark tells us that you've opened it, which pages you read and how long you spent on each.
We use that to understand what you're weighing up, so that when we speak we can answer the questions you actually have. The law calls this our legitimate interest. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Your name, contact details, the address of the job, your quotation, the drawings and the invoices. We need these to do the work and to keep our accounts, which the law requires.
We don't run advertising tools on this website. We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies and collects no personal data. What loads from other companies is set out in our cookie policy.
Only the companies whose services we use to run the business, and only the parts they need:
The map and font companies named in our cookie policy also see your IP address when those load.
If a job needs it, we'll share the relevant details with the structural engineer, architect or builder working on it with us. We don't sell your details, and we don't pass them to anyone for their own marketing.
Some of these companies store information outside the UK.
Where they do, UK data protection law requires the transfer to be protected, and each company's data processing terms say how it does that. Ask us and we'll tell you which safeguard applies to which company.
For customers, six years after the job's final invoice, because tax law requires us to keep accounting records that long.
If you get in touch but don't go ahead, we keep your enquiry for three years from the last time we heard from you, in case you come back to it. After that we delete it.
Your email address stays on our mailing list until you unsubscribe.
You can ask us:
Email info@foxtailoak.co.uk. We'll reply within a month, and it's free.
Tell us first and we'll try to put it right. If you're still not happy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date below.
